The new season premiere of “The Big Boom Theory” is slated to air on January 28th, 2017, with a podcast advertisement appearing in a promo clip of the premiere.
It will be a teaser that will not be featured on the broadcast.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the promo is a “very brief clip” that features a woman reading a story, then the audio comes back saying, “The premiere of The Big Bang.
You’ve heard it here first.
It’s your chance to catch up on everything you missed.”
The ad is not featured on The Big Boom Show, which airs Mondays at 8 p.m.
ET/PT on NBC.
The episode will be available for streaming on Hulu, YouTube, Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, and Apple TV.
We’re told the ad will be part of the episode’s promo.
It was not immediately clear whether the ad was a teaser or an actual advertisement.
We’ve reached out to “The Great Big Bang” to find out if it was still running the promo.
In a post on the website, The Big Boomerang stated, “We’re pleased to announce that we will be offering a free podcast episode to the world starting January 28, 2017.
It is a special bonus episode for you, our listeners, to hear a little bit of what the show is all about.
It includes the entire first season, but with a few additional behind-the-scenes gems, like a special interview with director David Fincher, a new episode of the podcast, and more.”
The post does not specify what the “behind-the” scenes gems are.
