The ad that launched the new home depot stores in California, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania was created by an advertising agency that specializes in creating ads for products and services that are popular with consumers.
The ad, which has been viewed more than 7.6 million times on YouTube, features a home depot worker selling a $1,500 computer to a customer.
“I am excited to welcome home depot to my home, and this ad is one of the first things that we will be introducing into our retail stores,” Joe Dang, vice president of the home depot, said in a statement on Wednesday.
“Home Depot is the leader in home improvement, and we look forward to being part of the new family of home improvement retailers.”
Home Depot said in the statement that the ad is part of a broader strategy of creating ads that are relevant to its brand.
The company also plans to start advertising online in the next several weeks, said David Pimentel, president and CEO of Home Depot.
“This ad, along with our other home improvement ads, are going to be the first wave of our advertising on YouTube,” Pimentell said.
“I believe that it will help increase the engagement of our viewers and give them the information they need to make informed decisions.”
Pimentel said the company will continue to expand its marketing on YouTube with new ads, and said it is looking for ways to grow the channel in the future.
